Josh Wittwer

Hi everyone! After returning from my mission in England I attended SUU. A few months after graduation I was able to land a job with Marriott International in Salt Lake. Recently, I transferred to Baton Rouge. I never thought I'd live in the South but so far I enjoy it. I want my next move to be closer to home and I'll be eligible for that in about a year. Then I'll be able to settle down a bit and stay in the same location. I think I'm one of the few who isn't married. It's still in my plans for when I meet someone who is right for me. Life is really good and definitely an adventure.

Trina Topham Hawkins

My husband Tyler and I live in Southeastern Washington. We're fruit farmers and we love it! We have a 1 yr old boy named Traeger and another boy that will be here in December! We got to go to Nauvoo a year ago- what a wonderful place that is!!

Krisitin Jensen Manwill

I served in the best mission in the whole world (Washington Tacoma) under the best mission president ever (Elder Kevin W. Pearson). Then back to BYU to finish my degree in Family History, with minors in Music and Family Life. I got to do an internship at an archive in England, and while I was there I got to tour church history sites. It totally reminded me of our church history tours. After graduating, I married Michael Manwill, who is majoring in Music Education at BYU and wanted to be a high school choir director, but is now working full-time as a software engineer. We have two kiddos: Jonathan (age 2) and Rebecca (age 5 months). We’re living in Taylorsville, UT. I am blessed to be able to stay at home with my kids, and I’m also doing some professional family history research on the side. (Of course, my mother-in-law is currently my only client. Basically, it serves as an excuse for her to give us money. But at least I’m keeping my research skills in use.) Someday, I may take on some more clients, but for now, I’m plenty busy taking care of my little family.

Meagan Knudson Aldridge

My husband Stephen and I have been married almost 4 years now! We have two beautiful daughters, Hannah (almost 17 months) and Audrey (8 weeks). Yes, they are really really close together. Stephen and I are currently living in Provo. He was just accepted into the advertising program at BYU, so we'll be here another 2 years. I am lucky enough to get to stay home with Hannah and Audrey. I am teaching in Relief Society in my ward, which surprisingly I love. Also, just unwrapped an entire bag of rolos so that I can bake rolo cookies to share at the relief society activity tonight. So I'll be thinking of my Nauvoo friends today while I bake!

Emily Zimmerman

Hello friends!! We're almost to our 10 year reunion! What!?
My life has been crazy lately. (What's new?) So here's the run down:
I'm currently living in Portales, New Mexico. Where is that you say? Well... drive from Albuquerque, going east, for about 4 hours, and when you're about 20 miles from the Texas boarder, you've made it! It's 2 hours to a decent airport (Lubbock, TX) and 4 from a 'real' one! I'm also 90 minutes from a Target, but my town does have a WalMart.
Why did I move to the armpit of the united states? Graduate School. I'm in my second (and last) year of Grad School for Communicative Disorders- I graduate next May and after a year of Clinical Fellowship I will have 8 (eight) letters after my name! M.S. CCC-SLP. Sweet, huh? I'll save all the babies! (Or their speech, at least). Hopefully (barring a shiny- third finger left hand reason to stay) as soon as I'm done with school in May, I'll be heading back to Seattle to be closer to most of my family!
Other points of interest--
  • My car, Betsy, has 342,000+ miles on it (a 1985 Volvo 740 GLE). She is a rock star and I'll be sad to get rid of her, but I will be SO happy to have a car with AC (which, let me tell you, is a killer here in New Mexico!)
  • I've been dating a boy for 6 months... Justin, and we'll see where it goes. At this point, I like him a whole lot. One of the perks is that his parents just went to be the mission president/wife in Ecuador! So as soon as I'm done with school I'm planning on a week or two down there with a place to stay and everything! (Wahoo!)
  • I bake cupcakes, on a regular basis. Filled, frosted, butter rich cupcakes. Mmmmm. My professors love me. I need a bigger kitchen!
  • I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews who I adore! (And I'm sorry, but they are cuter than your nieces/nephews/children... ;) )
  • I'm in the YW presidency in my ward here. It's super fun- it also means I have an entire pin board devoted to YW stuff (next to the cupcake one!)

So there you go; My life in a nutshell!  Love to you all,
Emily Zimmerman

Hey everyone! I guess since I set the blog up I will be the one to start this out. My husband and I got married in December of 2011. Marrying my husband I became an instant mom to a then 4 year old (she is 6 now). It has been a fun little adventure. My husband is currently studying at ISU and working on getting his master's degree. I am a student at BYUI working on getting my bachelors in History and Government Education. We are currently living in Pocatello, Idaho. Next spring/summer we will be heading to Washington D.C. for an internship then back to Pocatello to finish school. Life is going to be full of travels and all that fun stuff for the next two years.
